Yeast Bay Wallonian Farmhouse

Anyone think there would be an issue using this in a Fast Ferment? Or should I put it in glass?

Not sure what makes up this yeast, if there are any minor "bugs" in it. Would prefer not to contaminate my FF for future use.

Might just go for a glass carboy anyway, as I can sit it on a heating pad to ramp up the temps, then again I can always put the heating pad on the side of my FF as well.

There's a lot of places for the Brett to hide in the FF... the lettering on the side, the lid seal, the ball valve.. I would say use glass if you have it.

That's the thing, I don't know if it has any bugs, and YB is light on info.

I did send them an e-mail and they said is should be fine....still leery however.

Thanks. I saw on their description that it was a "clean" yeast, but then went on to describe it as funky. Wasn't so sure you could have a funky clean yeast.

Brett brux trois is a sacc yeast with some funky character, no Brett.
