Hey Reid,Just out of curiosity what made you choose a counterflow over an immersion chiller?Either way I'd just build one if I were you.

I share a whirlpool immersion chiller with some friends but am trying to get a few pieces of equipment for home so I don't need to arrange for gear swaps. The plan for the immersion chiller looks pretty easy until you get to the fittings. I'm "OK" with soldering but if I don't have to do it I K with that as well.
I have a counter flow chiller that I'm looking to sell. Paid $330. Asking $200. It's a copper tubing setup. Just putting it out there. I only used it once. Decided to continue using my plate chiller.
