Title: Mill grain
Post by: robcoombs on May 28, 2014, 08:15:03 AM
Does anyone in the club mill grain (for a fee) for those of us who don't have a mill yet? I would love to just buy one but I'll be sleeping in the garage of I buy one more thing this month.

It should be warming up shortly... the garage may not be a terrible option

I don't have one either... it's on the list

I have my old corona mill rigged in a bucket that I can lend you for how long you want (similar to this (http://www.homebrewtalk.com/f51/my-ugly-junk-corona-mill-station-90849/)).  It doesn’t make the perfect crush and get about 65% efficiency but I still made like 40 batches with it

but a BC makes life much more easier!

I have had that in the back of my mind since you posted it. I want it but I really can't spend another $100 right away.

I may have to take you up on this for the short term, unless I get impulsive and get the BC

I'll be in town next wednesday so I'll bring it down.  You can pick it up wednesday night or arrange a pick up with Jenna anytime

I have a corona mill in a bucket. Anyone in Oromocto is welcome to come by and crush some grain however my drill is burned out so youd likely be hand cranking. I get decent efficiency 70-75% but I crush very fine because I BIAB. Just PM to arrange a time
