Yeah, I've made it with the frozen concentrate too.  It turned out great.  Didn't last too long this summer past. The girls drank it as fast as I could open it :D

Well that certainly explains the new child on the way ;).

Hmmm. Think I might make me some of that skeeter-pee and add some ginger root; looks similar to my alcoholic ginger beer recipe.

I am kegging the hard lemonade right now.. It fermented down to 1.005 so it ended up being pretty strong. I am going to add real sugar and then force carb... I THOUGHT I had something to stabilize the yeast, but apparently I dont... So whats the worst that might happen? It will continue to ferment in the keg? I could pick some campden tablets up tomorrow, just wanted to get your guys' input first

I'd say don't bother with the sugar and just force-carb; people can sweeten their drink to taste :P

Did many of you try the skeeter-pee?  If you did, would you make it again?

I did, but I didn't use enough yeast - they're not kidding about needing a shitload due to the high-pH high-gravity low-nutrient situation.

I was just thinking about making another batch actually.  I made still have a bottle from the summer before last.  I may may make a lower alcohol version and keg it for the summer.

I'd like to make some that is 4.5% - 5%.
