Late Saturday Night Drunken Stout

4lb marris otter
1lb roasted barley
6oz black patent
.5 crystal 240
1lb toasted barley flakes

mash 1hr 17.5L @ 155, sparge 15min 13.25L @ 168. (mash ratio = 1.33qts/lb, grain absorption = 0.15gal/lb = 8L)

1oz galena @ 60
.5oz Amarillo, .5oz cascade @ 15
.5oz amarillo , .5oz cascade @ 5

SO4 Yeast

This is basically a twist of the IPA noire I did. Certain things were tweaked, but I thought it was my best beer to date. Most notable change is going from SO5 to SO4, everything else very similar.

Just starting this somewhat buzzed with plans to keep goin strong while watchin some puck. Hopefully I make it.
