2011 Harvest Pale Ale

This years Cascade Harvest was good so being the lazy brewer I am I didn't want to have to dry and pack anything I didn't have to....Wet hopped ale.

I assumed the AA based on Pro Mash defaults.

Grain Bill - 10.5lbs
8 lbs. 2-Row Pale Malt
2 lbs. Vienna Malt
0.5 lb. Crystal 10L Malt

Mash @ 150 for 60

Hop bill - ~11.5 Oz
5.5 oz wet Cascade 5.75% (est) at 60 min.
2.75 oz wet Cascade 5.75% at 30 min.
1.4 oz wet Cascade 5.75% at 15 min.
1.4 oz wet Cascade 5.75% at 5 min.

Dry hop (7 days) .5 oz dry

Its currently kegged and is very nice.  The smell and flavor of the Cascade comes through loud and clear but with a slightly muted bitterness.  Each time I have a glass I'm expecting a big IPA bitter kick but its not there....I think upping the 60 min addition would do the trick (7 oz?) and perhaps dry hopping with 2.75 oz of wet hops, coulda shoulda woulda.  Its got the head of an IPA and the ass end of a standard Pale Ale.
