Buy now you would think I would simply brew a lager, and stop trying to make an ale into one.

I overshot my OG a little, it was support to be around 1.060, oh well, more alcohol for me. I chilled the wort down to 18-19C and am trying to keep fermentation temperatures low to prevent any fusels.
