Cold Steeping

I thought this was interesting, especially coming straight from someone at Briess. Anyone ever tried it?

I do it all the time. It's an extra step but I like the results.

Interesting read! I assume at least part of the extra aroma is from adding that "extract" late in the boil.

Very cool. Have heard about this but never tried. @Roger do you notice a difference?

I find I prefer the aroma and fuller flavours. I have found it to result in a darker beer than expected but that don't bother me none.

Yup last 5 minutes just to sterilise it.
