Welcome! We have a great club lots of knowledge and great brewers. We get together every 2 weeks for meetings and samples. As a paid member you get discounts on grain, hops and yeast when the bulk orders go through.

Welcome to the club!

Lots of great info on here, hopefully you can make it to one of the meetings soon.
Give a man a beer and he'll waste an hour, teach him how to brew beer and he'll waste a lifetime.

Welcome Eric.
Try to figure out what type of system suits you well. There are guys here that have good knowledge of Boil in a bag (BIAB), batch sparge, fly sparge, etc.
There are some guys that have advanced set ups here too. Depending on your budget and preferences and what you have available at your house. Propane, electric, etc. You like stainless good for you. You want to set up a very basic mash tun, ask away.

Hey Eric. I live in New Maryland. I'll be brewing an all grain black IPA this weekend. You're welcome to come by to check things out.

Eric

When is your meeting and where?
and how to be a member?
Thanks

Hi @Eric, as @roger mentioned we meet every two weeks. The meeting place changes as some people are able to host more than others. Our president, @Jake has been hosting quite a bit in the last 6 months. The treasurer is @brew he can likely fill you in on how to go about paying the membership dues. The members here have a wealth on knowledge for brewing, they have helped me out a lot since I joined, it is well worth the membership fee. Not to mention the access to club orders. If you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask.

Eric glad to have you with us! For the benefit of others, the membership thread is a sticky topic in the membership thread of the General forum:
