I was lucky enough to sample some Flying Monkeys Matador Cedar Aged Double IPA at the club meeting last weekend, Big thank you to Brew!

I thought it was phenomenal!! The problem is that I have been craving it since and they don't carry it at the Premiere Wine and spirits store in Halifax (http://premierwines.ca/store/department/23/Beer/) or anywhere for that matter.

If anyone happens to know where some of these can be sourced, please let me know. I would be happy to pay a premium or do trades.

Give a man a beer and he'll waste an hour, teach him how to brew beer and he'll waste a lifetime.

Yea i feel your pain. You should try and clone it. Just make a DIPA and age it with some Spanish cedar. You might even be able to find a clone recipe on line somewhere.

I've had not luck finding a clone recipe for it but a Spanish Cedar IPA is def next on my brew list!

I just need to sample that one a few more times to make sure I get it right.
Then I'll need a few more for side by side comparison, of course  :frazzled:

They don't even have it listed on their site.  Not good.

It was a limited release.

And it was only here because of the brewer's bash.
I only have 8 of my 12 bottles from the sell-off left, burned through a couple in the past week. :chug:
