Has anybody tried any of these yet?  I don't expect much, but I'm curious.

Richard

The Cascade was actually very inoffensive - seems to me like a rather dry SMaSH beer, just 2-row and Cascade.

Honestly, I think I'll be drinking quite a bit of it in the summer.

I was surprised with their Cascade ale.  Surprisingly bitter...considerably more bitter than their IPA, which isn't all that bitter.

You mean...isn't an IPA.

I'll admit, keiths was always my go to beer in the past so I still have a special place for it in my belly.

Definitely not much of an IPA though...IPA requires hops...lol!

Same here, I drank that for years.

I believe that they are making a Hallertau version of the Ale as well.

Chris Craig

...and something called Hop Mason as well.  That one's only available on tap though.

I had a few of the Cascade ales are Dolan's last night. It was 2 for 1 happy hour. They were ok. Nothing special. It was difficult to pick out the citrus I was expecting, and there was very little body. It was better than the regular Keith's though.

Richard

Point being you had a few :)
When macro is the only option, its a good choice. You wouldn't seek it out otherwise.

My suspicion is that the keg was getting on... I've had a few cans of this now with _very_ variable hop presence. It ranges from damn near undetectable to classic cascade.

So... they made a pale ale that actually ages like a pale ale. Touche.

Yea i bought my first sixer in a while from the liquor store of the cascade and I liked it. Pretty decent summer beer. Actually not too far off from some of the old cascade pales that I was making last summer
