there's a canadian supplier as well for them.

i've seen them listed as another price on that site as well, so i'd contact him for an actual price first.

When I was in Halifax I went to noble grape in Dartmouth. They're got 6 or so they're selling for 175 each, which seems pretty good. I had asked if they would ship one up to the Fred store and they said it wouldnt be a problem if I wanted one. Prety sure its the ones in the pictures above too.

don't you live close to the border?

I got mine at adventures in homebrewing...

There is free shipping, so the price is the same as the barleycrusher website in the end.

(When I added it to the cart, it added the shipping, sent them an email and they fixed it.)

I had mine shipped to Calais, that cost me $3 for the pickup charge at Ace.

I live in St. George so pretty close yeah.

My Sister in law lives near Halifax though, we go and visit her a few times a year. I took the opportunity last time to go to noble grape and check out what they had down that way :P

Probably still cheaper to do the US thing....like JohnWay said, it was free shipping within the US...then a small charge at the other place. The Cdn dollar is strong right now.

And its hit or miss with getting things sent to the Freddy location of noble grape....sometimes they charge you shipping, sometimes they don't..just a heads up. Of course it "wouldn't be a problem to send it"...but you may end up paying...so best to grab it when you're down visiting your SIL if you end up going the noble grape route.

Well the only issue with cross the border is the customs taxes. Unless you go for the 48hrs, I think you only get 100$ before they slap you with the taxes.

I already have a mill. I thought I'd just let people be aware that NG has them if they want the Fred outlet to get one in for them.

Just got my crusher today and did you guys just leave it on the default setting or did anyone adjust there's?

Richard

Everyone seems to have a different opinion on which setting is best... I've used both Dave's and Kyle's which have different settings (you'd have to ask them as to specifically what), but Kyle's took longer to mill manually so I'm assuming it's a finer grain.

Both Kyle's and Dave's crush settings seemed to produce similar efficiencies for me.
