I am fermenting a wheat beer that I would like to add some apricot puree to.  Can I just add this to the primary, or, am I better off racking the beer onto the fruit in the secondary?

Kyle

I add stuff like that to the primary fermenter, but after fermentation has completed. There's no need to transfer to a seperate fermenter unless you will be leaving it for months.

Primary is fine, I've done that before plenty of times. The real PITA is getting the stuff through the neck of the carboy.
