Group buy? 4 charcoal smokers for $125

For all you BBQ guys, are these a decent option for $31.25 each? I know it's no Kamado...

I'd be interested in one, maybe a good starter smoker?

That's what I was thinking, but would love to hear from someone with experience before pulling the trigger

I have never used this type of smoker before. But check out kamado guru. They would certainly work for low and slow cooks for salmon, ribs, chicken, pork butt etc. Check with the seller regarding size to ensure you can lay out a large piece of meat or ribs. I have no idea if you'd be able to use them for pizza, or anything needing a high temp. I can't imagine you're going to get into a smoker for anything close to that price. Certainly worth it to see if you like that type of cooking and possibly upgrade later if needed. It's hard to tell the condition based on the picture, something worth looking at a little closer.

Jamie recommended something similar to me when I was first getting into that type of bbq. The only reason I got something else is because I grill pizza fairly regularly. But if he was recommending that type they must be worth trying, especially at that price.

For that price it's a great option to get your smoke on. Like you said its no kamado but I doubt you'll regret it once you taste your own home made smoked ribs, salmon, anything really. I say go 4 it!

Give a man a beer and he'll waste an hour, teach him how to brew beer and he'll waste a lifetime.

I want both of those items, but have a few things higher up on the priority list right now

That beer fridge is nice but it is an energy hog. It's huge and it only makes sense. But the fella who buys this and uses it will notice it on their power bill.
