Just got a call back from him and will be meeting him.

I was thinking about the big one, that would make a dandy bar.  Go for it if you want it.

DandyMason

Agreed, need some pics!

No, I'm looking at the small one, instead of building my chilling room.
We might be able to get a deal on taking both of them...
I'm meeting him at 1 tomorrow at the storage unit where they are.

Sounds good, grab a pic if you have a chance.

JohnQ

He actually has 2 of the larger 3 door beer fridges, they are 90 inches wide by 27 inches deep and the one smaller one that I want.
If we take all three, we can probably get a deal.
PM me if you're interested.

Jake

I may be interested in a larger one. Where would you run the beer lines out? is there a place for this?

Out the back, or through the top.
The small one already has holes cut in the top for that, not sure about the big ones.
They were feeding a bar tap already, so it's quite likely they are there, but would be a piece of cake to cut new ones.  You could certainly mount towers on the top as well if desired.

Just bought all 3 of them, I'll be picking them up on Saturday morning, so they could be delivered pre-meeting if people commit to them.

The two large ones are for sale, $725 each.

First purchaser gets first choice.

You're an animal JQ.
This could go in the thread called 'Bang!'.

chrismccull

Yeah, you don't screw around.  I'll do a few measurements to see if this will fit in my space.  They look to be in decent shape, I assume that they work well?

JohnQ

Same manufacturer as the one I've been running non-stop since I bought it in 2003 as a very used rolling tap, which might also go up for sale after I see how much room I have after the small one goes in and replaces this one.
I think with a little imagination you could configure these up to have a couple of different temp zones.
Apparently they worked well right up to the day they were pulled from the social club when they did a reno and replaced them all.

They were in 7/10 cosmetics I'd say, quite good shape.

For those who don't know already...

The Small and 1 Large one is gone, leaving 1 large one only...

The large one I have cooled down to -2.5C in 2 hours, and was running at -5C when I got home from the meeting. I figure that I'll be able divide it in to 3 sections, with one for lagering and 2 sections with different serving temps.  Should have room to hold at least 15 cornies in that configuration. I'm also looking at building a ferment area using the stainless top as the base of the ferment chamber, with a heater/access to the cold air from the fridge to control temps.

The last large one in sitting on the trailer until Tuesday when I need to get some building supplies. $725.
