Omega Yeast restocked!

Hey All,

Just got two boxes of fresh yeast in the mail today to replenish stocks of both Omega Yeast and White Labs! Hoping to get in some more Escarpment soon too, just waiting for them to get into their new packaging.

I have mixed feelings about it myself.  I love the bottles as well but as a retailer I've had to refund a bunch that ended up leaking during shipping which is why I am not getting any more in stock until the new packaging comes out.  From what I understand after going back and forth with them a few times is that the new packaging will be similar to Omega or Wyeast pouches.

You are correct though, they are fantastic products and Canadian to boot!  Can't wait to get more in-stock!

Any chance of Imperial Yeast showing up on this side of the country? Only Canadian places I have found it are all in BC.

I've actually been back and forth with Imperial just recently as I am interested in bringing it in but the cost+shipping+brokerage+currency exchange makes it so expensive I doubt i'd be able to move any of it.  It's something I am still considering though and am still working with them on costs.  If I can get it down to a reasonable sale price I'll bring it in.

As a small business owner, I hear you about the shipping and brokerage. Luckily I am close enough to the border that I just do my own importing (45min drive to Houlton), and UPS/Fed Ex doesn't get their pound of flesh out of me.
