Has anyone ever tried? Results? I'm gonna try a few ounces in my next batch of English Ale, just wondering what to expect.

OBK has a small selection of 1lb bags for $10, btw.

They always have some for $10.

I've never dry hopped an English Ale before, so not sure how this would fare.  Is it an ESB?

On second thought, I think I'm gonna wait for a more "neutral" batch to try it out. I'll mostly split the batch in two and dry-hop one half only.

Good to know!

I did a run of very simple, dry, balanced, IPA's a few years ago and dry hopped each with something else. I was not a fan of the Northern Brewer one. My notes are not accessible right now, but I do remember that one was very strong and punch-in-the-face type of experience.

I've dry hopped a number of English-style beers with either Fuggles or EKG. 0.5oz per 5 gallons for low gravity English bitters works well.
