Anyone here ever dry-hop with leaf hops? To date I've only used pellet, which will disolve and not clog my ball valve, but I wouldn't mind dry-hopping my blonde with some leaf czech saaz. I've read that some people will use a special type of fine screen to do so. Anyone know any simple tricks to keeping the hops contained ? Would like to do it in coming days

Jake - In my experience a nylon bag works fine. You can just drop in in the boil kettle or clip it to the rim. You can get them many places, but I got mine at Scoop and Save.

Oops, just noticed you said "dry hop". But I have had similar success using a nylon bag to dry hop. Just ensure you sanitize the bag.

I picked up a hops screen that goes on the bottom of the dip tube in the keg. Stainless steel mesh that slides on to the tube.
I have been hopsbag free, just throw the leaves in the keg with the screen on the bottom of the dip tube and bam.

If you want, I can look at getting you one or more the next time I'm South, I think they were around $7 landed back here as part of a bulk shipment, but don't quote me at  6 am.
