I made 8 carb caps for PET bottles for under $10.

$3.99 for a pack of 4 valve stems at princess auto.

how do you connect that to the gas?

Put a 1/4 inch male thread with barbed tip (princess auto) on a valve stem nozzle for filling tires.  Hook it up to your gas manifold.   You could also put a quick disconnect on one of your gas lines to swap between a keg gas fitting and the bottle filler.
I got a feeling I'll end up buying a bunch of gas fittings from princess auto to bring to the next meeting I can make.
