Hawoh: I think it'd be pretty hard for homebrewers to make non-alcoholic beer.

I propose a second round, but one that involves high-alcohol beers (nothing below 10-12%), BEFORE the marathon is run, and at designated check points (say, every 5 km).

Can the rest of the group follow the runners with paintball markers to provide motivation? For science!

I was initially going to recommend rotten fruit of some sort, but I suppose paintball markers will provide more of a speed-inducing sting...

I'm pretty sure I've already proved that drinking a lot of beer and running marathons go hand-in-hand quite well.

I'm up for this drinking while running challenge as well. There's wine marathons, why not a beer one? I'd give it a whirl...
