This will no doubt be over the top bitter but we were using up last year's leftover hops...


Recipe: AP 120 Minute IPA
Brewers: Al and Pierre
Style: Imperial IPA

Yeast:
4.5Gal -> 2 packs of US05

Dry Hop
4.5Gal -> 0.75oz  Simcoe (pellets) and 0.75oz Citra (leaf) for 16 days in secondary.


Al fermented the other 4.5Gal with US04.

WOW!!! 229.2 IBUs and one pound of hops. That should be interesting.  :o

I did 1lb of hops in a 5 gallon batch a couple of years ago.  Delicious.

Might need a knife and fork to sample this one but it should be different.... If this sumabeech ever stops fermenting
