I use beer tools as well. The program is a bit counter-intuitive to learn, but with a bit of practice, it is excellent.

I see you use the flaked barley. Does it add mouthfeel? or is there a reason? Add body?

Head retention mostly but it does have a smooth crispness to it

Actually, supposedly our taste buds are better in the morning.  Don't remember where I've read that tho
