Title: hello from up north
Post by: jamie_savoie on February 24, 2012, 10:57:03 AM
Hi everyone,

I've been kinda lurking here for a while and I thought that I'd properly introduced myself.  Like my obvious username, I'm Jamie Savoie and I'm from Grand-Falls up north.

I've been brewing for 7-8 months now with 10 brews under my belt and the last 4 were AG.  Brewing AG is worst than smoking crack lol it's freaking awesome and I'm loving it!

I've been bottling so far but now I have a 20# co2 tank + 2 corny waiting to be used :)  I will still bottle alot tho (aging)

Lately I've been brewing German beer (schwarzbier, rauchbier, hefe, märzen) but I have 3 wyeast Belgian strains in my fridge(1762, 3522, 3944) that I'll be using for my next 5-6+ batch.  I love all styles of beer but Belgium makes fantastic and crazy beers imo

I might take a trip down for the meeting on March 17th, if so I'll bring 3 really good imp stout from Quebec's micros to share with you guys

Hope to meet you there if I can make it!

Cheers everyone!
Jamie
