Title: Rhizomes
Post by: Roger on May 11, 2020, 01:47:58 PM
If anyone wants some Cascade and/or Hersbrucker rhizomes let me know. I'll be doing some pruning in the next few days. Just PM me and I can leave some at the bottom of my driveway or whatever works for you.

I've never pruned my rhizomes. Should I be? They are planted in the middle of the yard so any rhizomes that pop up outside of their designated spot get mowed.

I think you're fine to do that. I just need to prune mine back because they grow into the driveway if I don't.

A couple of Cascade would be awesome. Been meaning to add them to go with my centennial.

Where would one go to pick them up?

I can just put a few in a bag and you can pick them up some day next week if that works for you. I live in the Pepper Creek area. PM me and I can give you my address and time for pick up.

Unfortunately I have a home based business, that I can only get away from Sundays and Mondays. Had I have seen this earlier, I could have arranged something for today (Victoria Day).

No worries, always next year.
