So this is my US05 7th gen yeast starter after 2 hours. I think i may need a larger flask. :cheers:

After 7 generations I bet there is more the us05 in that, does it still finish clean or you get some funky phenols?

I'm on my 8th use of LAIII and it's still very clean.

One thing to be careful is not to overpitch. Otherwise your beer might start to taste a bit flat. This is not always noticeable at first.
The beer becomes a little less crisp and the hops start missing a bit of the punch. Starts to lack some of the character it should have.

Re-pitching slurry, I could only get around 5 generations

I leave a bit of beer in the fermenter swirl it around a bit let the big stuff settle out and pour it into sterilized jars and keep it in the fridge. I only do it with light beers thathe are not very happy.
