I just ordered one last week and it seems like a pretty decent rig. At $114 you wont find much else at that price.

I have this mill, and it is a pretty good deal. It tends to give me a bit of trouble from time to time. Occasionally the wheels will just spin and not pull any grain in. This usually happens when changing grain types being crushed (going from 2row to crystal, etc). Sometimes though, I'll grind a hopper of 2 row, and try another hopper of 2row and it won't grab for some reason. When this happens, I'll either run it backwards and forwards a few times and it will grab or I'll have to adjust the rollers mid-crush. The main thing is tightening up the nut on the adjustment screw once the correct gap is set. This should eliminate it from wandering on you.

Yeah, I had read that people were having issues so I threw a lock washer on it. What did you set for a gap?

I had to disassemble mine, it was horrible on tolerances. The rollers were a bit to long for the chassis and would bind up to the point the free roller would hardly turn by finger. So I got it all apart and grinded the roller ends back a bit and it works great now. I do still occasionally get a stop while milling, but I keep my gap setting pretty tight. My next mill is going to be an MM3.

My mill was doing the "not grabbing grain" thing recently - it got bad enough it just wouldnt work. Keeping in mind, only one roller is powered, the other is not, I took it apart, cleaned out the dust from both rollers in their bearings, put some silicon grease on it and now it work so much better...
