Keezer almost done!
« on: January 18, 2012, 09:21:12 PM »
Here's my almost-finished keezer.  I just have to paint the front/sides black, trim the collar and top in oak, add the handle to the collar, and put the thing on casters so I can move it into my living room.

I decided to attach the hinges to the collar instead of the lid so I can reach down and clean the freezer floor, and to get the shanks and lines out of the way when I lift the lid.

I have room for one more keg in there, and if I get a high-pressure hose for the CO2, I can move that outside, and fit another one on the compressor hump.

Looks like a great size freezer, how many cubic feet?

I don't really know.  It came with the house.  The outside dimensions are 30x20, but I've never measured it inside. Maybe 10-12.  I think I can fit 5 kegs now that the collar is on, but I'd have to move the CO2 outside.
