Thomas: Can you tell me what the exact outside dimensions are of the freezer?

Guy: its 21 cubic feet

.....

if this was for a freebie, then yeah...his reply was typical as ppl don't want to be hassled over something they're giving away for free....beggers can't be choosers in their eyes i guess. If it was a 'for sale' ad....then he was being a douche.

but for freebie freezers...you gotta be quick as they don't last long, just discouraging when there's ppl scrounging the free ads for stuff to resell for profit, and you're looking for one to actually use and not resell.

Thomas,  if you can get exact dimentions I can look around moncton..or if you seen one available in Moncton on kijiji, I can check it out and even bring it up to Fredericton with me.

I'd really consider having an appliance repair shop check it out...might be much cheaper than getting another and retrofitting.

Thanks man, I might have to take you up on that offer. I check with some appliance stores, and its not going to be worth it to fix up the broke freezer. Its at least $60 to come and take a look at it, then the cost of replacement parts and service time. Might as well buy a half decent used on from kijiji.

finally scored a freezer last night, with the exact same dimensions as the old one. Now I need to rebuild the new freezer, slap on some pain and hook up all the plumbing. If anyone wants to help haul the old freezer to the dump sometime this week it would be appreciated.
