Geaghan's in Bangor
« on: December 04, 2012, 08:10:02 PM »
Just visited with Jason, head brewer at Geaghan's brewing...
http://www.geaghanspub.com/ordereze/Content/9/Summary.aspx
Going there for lunch tomorrow.
He's running a 5 barrel system, 5 fermenters and bright tanks downstairs, looks very cool.
Gonna have a sampler tomorrow and might even try a review.

Sweet!  any chance of getting a sample pack for Saturday's meeting?

They don't bottle, Growlers only.
They counterfill pressure the growlers to extend shelf life so I'm hoping to go tomorrow morning before leaving and picking up a growler of the IPA.
They have a 4 glasses, and a filled growler for $25 deal on right now.

nice!  I wonder if you'll get any trouble bring a growler over the border.

Always a crapshoot crossing with a growler, but I've had luck before though.
