Title: Yeast Swap - Conan for Weizen
Post by: Two Wheeler on March 27, 2015, 09:09:45 AM: Hey folks, I have some yeast saved from a Yeast Bay Vermont Ale (Conan) starter. It's about a week old.

Looking for 3068, 3463 or similar yeast for a weizen.

I think it would be fine, you will just have to take some time to step up the starter.

If you can wait a week, I ordered some from NG that came in within a few days, you could probably do the same if need be.

Yeah, its been kept in my keezer. I was going to do the same and brew with it next weekend.

Sorry I didn't explain myself. I'm brewing with the pack I have this weekend. I primary only unless aging a beer so I won't have it available for a few weeks. But if you could wait until next week NG may be able to get it in for you, it came in very quick for me.

Its no big deal, but I have several mason jars full of it.
