WTBorrow: flaked or white wheat
« on: September 13, 2013, 09:03:32 PM »
I am on vacation and have a few brews planned.  Being somewhat new to brewing and malts, I made a big error in what I bought for the brews.  I needed white wheat but for some reason, thought pale wheat would work.  It will not.  Flaked wheat would but I do not have any of that either. I wanted to brew early this week since I need to do a started from a slant for my other recipe so Noble Grape cant get me anything in time. I need about 5 kg of it so if you have any I could buy or borrow, I will replace it at the next grain order or through Noble Grape.  What would be a substitute for this that may be more easily available or on the grain order form?  Any help you can give would be appreciated.
Fermenting: Air
On Tap: Hoppy Porter
Bottled:  Air
