does anyone in Fredericton have any picaroons bottles for sale?

I'm also looking for any basic equipment I can find ...

If you go to the bottle depot, you can buy bottles there real cheap.

As for starter equipment (assuming festa-brew, brewhouse or similar kit), you could make do with the bottles, a 23L carboy, a racking cane (with attached hose), bottle-wand, and whatever sanitiser you want to use. You'd later need a bottling bucket or carboy.

I'm a bit confused ...I'm going to town after work, do I buy a glass carboy or a plastic bucket? I'll be buying a festa kit.

Jmac: HELPING! :P

Dean: Glass carboy all the way. I avoid plastic wherever possible, but that's a personal preference. AFAIK you can get all of the above from either NG or WineKitz, and potentially Scoop+Save also.

(btw Jmac I still have those bottles for you)

Dean: I have some picaroons bottles (probably 10-12, I forget - you'll need to wash + sanitise them yourself, though) that I was saving for JMac but that he no longer needs. If you want them, drop me a PM and I'll let you know where to pick them up.

Dean, not to confuse your plan here but I think if you buy equipment, they'll give you your first beer kit. At least that applies to WineKitz and Noble stores. It might be an advantage to buy from one place your first time. I think WineKitz carries the brand Brewhouse for their wort. NG is Festa.
