5/16 gas line
« on: April 30, 2012, 07:13:17 PM »
Does anybody have about 3 or 4 feet of 5/16 ID gas line they would be willing to part with?  I forgot to add it to my recent order.  I went to Home Depot, but the closest they had was 1/4".

Princess auto has gas line for 0.29$ a foot.  I can pick up a roll but wont be back up until the next meeting.

That's a great price, but I don't know what I'd do with a whole roll!

I think I have some, but I'm at work and can't tell until I get home.

The line comes in 10 foot lengths or rolls...I was thinking I'd pick up a 100' roll of the stuff and give it to someone like JohnQ to pass out as people need.

100' is only 29.99 afterall....pretty cheap.

I'd like 3 or 4 feet myself if anyone can spare it ... I bought a 100ft roll and split it with brew and some others. Thought I had some left, but it appears that I've used it all up. I have a spare CO2 tank that I recently bought a regulator for. So all I need now is a fill and a couple feet of gas line.

I wonder how hard it would be to get that connected to my manifold...Maybe if I heat it under hot water.

Home Hardware has a pretty good selection... Likely not as cheap as princess auto... but for a few feet your only looking a couple bucks tops anyway.

That's what I do - some boiling water for a few seconds, slides on easy...

I was at Kent a little while ago getting some other stuff, and saw some 1/4", so I picked up 4' for $2.  Hopefully it'll do.

Thanks for the offer brew/JQ.
