Title: WTB: 120 Gallon Cooler
Post by: Richard on May 03, 2013, 02:34:26 PM
So the yanks can get this:

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Coleman-Xtrem ... r/14574678 (http://www.walmart.com/ip/Coleman-Xtreme-120-Quart-Cooler/14574678)

However the largest I can seem to find at Walmart/HD is 70qt, which I'd need two of for my planned large-scale system (30 gallon). I'm not really interested in herms/rims when I can just infusion mash in a massive cooler - the thermal mass should actually make it work /better/ than smaller coolers.

Anyone know where I could source one, or am I going to need to head south of the border?

Thanks - that second one there looks a likely culprit, just   at costing 3x as much.

Yeah thinking about it I'd rather cross the border and get some other cheap shit than pay 200 bucks.

Yup,

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Igloo-Quick-and-Cool-150-Quart-Cooler/16437963

Save $120 + the tax on $200, total almost $150 saved.
2 nights at a hotel in Bangor just paid for, and you're only at 5% of the exemption limit for 2 people spent so far.

All this presuming that they'll let the Limey in to America.

My passport went through the wash... I suspect I'll be waiting a while before I go anywhere :P

Going down in a few weeks, I'll let you know if I have room (both Physical and $$ Allowance)

That'd be bloody excellent... and as a bonus I'd finally be able to get on the keg-swapping bandwagon ;)
