Picaroons Contact
« on: July 16, 2014, 03:14:54 PM »
I have been tasked at work to explore options for a commemorative edition beer or wine for the Royal Canadian Armour Corps' 75th Anniversary next fall. My first instinct was to get in touch with picaroons and see what they can put together.

Does anyone have a name/contact info for the appropriate person to talk to at Picaroons?

If so please PM the info to me so I can get in touch

Thanks

Brynn

What an excellent task... you must have told them you brew lol... funny how the military always exploits your hobby and turns it into work. I was initially going to make a zipperhead joke, but decided against it for professional reasons    Are you looking for something relating to the Corps in a historical way? A personal honour? What sort of ideas are you rolling around? If you don't mind me asking that is... pretty cool tasking.

Is the one they list on their site. I emailed them yesterday about the ridiculous volume of the tent at the brewers bash and Sean responded right away. He's pretty good that way!

good to know!  I wanted to email them with the same remarks.  It would be fun to actually hear what the brewer’s has to say.  I bet I would’ve use 10 more tickets inside but the sound turned me off

Yea you should say something the more remarks he gets the better the chance it will get fixed. He agreed that it was way too loud and that it was at the top of the list to fix for next year.

Yeah, I agree, the music did nothing for me. It was better when it was just a DJ early in the day, and it was quieter

Are they planning some sort of event?

I find it no surprise that being in the RCAC, I'll probably be the last to hear about it.

Its for fall 15. I was tasked to explore multiple options. Dont know if the funding will even get approved. Where are you working @feldmann ? I emailes my enquiry to beerguy@picaroons so hopefully ill hear back. Its more traditional to do commemorative wine but they didnt specify so I am hoping to shape this in the right direction.

I work out of the K lines for the school as a driver. We've been tasked with making a logo for the anniversary but that was all I've heard.

Well Picaroons is onboard and is being very flexible. Those guys are awesome! Now I just have to secure authorization and funding. Wish me luck
