Brewhardware.com to busy to do business
« on: March 06, 2013, 04:11:29 PM »
I just checked out http://www.brewhardware.com/ to see if I could throw some more money away, and got a message:

We're really sorry if you were just about to order. If you haven't seen this before, the reason we're temporarily closed is that we're going through growing pains. We hired a few part time folks who have been working nearly full time. We sometimes get backed up enough with orders that we can't keep our inventory stocked. Not only that, we'd much rather slow orders down so that we don't have them sitting in the queue and making everyone angry. Restocking, organizing, and always looking for more help.. hang in there, we'll be right back... Friday.

Must be nice to be doing so much business you can do any more business!

Indeed, and always better to be transparent and honest to your customers rather than leaving them hanging.

Yes and no; from personal experience it can be pretty difficult when you have many people who want your time. It's hard to say no, and harder still if you start working more than 40 hours a week to try and please everyone...

... but then this can usually be solved by raising prices accordingly :)
