Title: Clearing with gelatin
Post by: Two Wheeler on June 13, 2015, 05:27:22 PM
Cold crashed my ipa for two days then kegged and added gelatin. I dissolved a packet of Knox unflavoured gelatin in a cup of water and heated in the microwave until it hit about 155f. Make sure not to heat above 165 as it apparently denatures the gelatin. Added to keg, sealed and put in the Keezer. The first few pints were hazy with hop debris. This pic below is the 6th pint out of the keg, 3 days after kegging. I'm a believer! (http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/06/13/38608b81148ce3a3fe1f1042333a65bc.jpg)
