Superbowl XLIX
« on: February 01, 2015, 03:40:06 PM »
Who's your team, and how are you celebrating?

The Pats are my team.

Heading to a buddy's for a potluck style party. I have homemade donair meat and all the fixings for donairs. And a bunch of beer!

Go Pats!

My team (Denver) is out. So I'm cheering for the Pats. No party though, rest of the family is too sick. The donair platter is an awesome idea. I'd love to see your recipe for homemade donair meat.

I was lurking on the brewnoser forum and found the recipe there: http://www.brewnosers.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=70&t=5807&hilit=donair

It turned out really well. I would cut the recipe in half probably for a small group. I served a dozen donairs and had a bunch left over.

Did you 'make' this the same way you 'make' your cheese beer dip?

Haha. No, I actually did make this one. The beer dip was all Jen.

Found this here yesterday doing some interweb browsing, seems kind of interesting that the Madden game has predicted 9 of the last 12, and how accurate the Superbowl emulation game came to the final. Smells like a conspiracy...lol

That's pretty crazy Al... especially predicting the deficit that they would overcome
