You know, we've been doing this since last year at JQ's place.  We did a double-thread IIPA/Vienna Pale Ale, then we did a Winter Warmer, and recently we did a IIPA.

nice, this is really cool!  Does everybody contribute a small portion of the wort?  I'd be interessted in the next one for sure :)

5-10 gallons each, but we've had some problems with the barrel as of late.  We keep getting some sort of contamination.  JQ, where are we with this project right now?  Any plans to replace the barrel?

Unfortunately the strain of Brett that has infected us is unknown, and it would be a crap shoot. The new Scientist from Pic's suggested planters would be more appropriate.

5-10 gallons each, but we've had some problems with the barrel as of late.  We keep getting some sort of contamination.  JQ, where are we with this project right now?  Any plans to replace the barrel?

Dave from Everwood said that he'd get me pricing on 3-4 first run bourbon barrels, still waiting to hear.

Thomas wants to swab the barrel before I make it in to planters, I just haven't had time to get back to him.
