"How to Brew" by John Palmer is a really informative site, well organized, good ideas, I'm getting a lot from the all grain section....have I just re-invented the wheel?

Yep, a really valuable resource, I remember reading that eagerly.

Both of those give great reference and general material that is easy to understand.
