Ok, I checked two-tap tower options with a couple of other providers in Canada, and they were both about $50-60 more to trade the standard faucets for perlicks.

You could always skip the tower and use a collar or put shanks through the door instead.

Okay sounds like 54 is on par then.

I am actually planning on sticking the tower on top of a bar I have at home... So Not sure how many options I have... Will probably end up going with the kit plus those two options (two way manifold and perlick faucets)

Kyle

not to continue adding to your bill here, but I've got a two Perlick tap system with a two-way manifold, and I find it annoying to have to unhook a keg when I want to have gas for purging something. I'd go with a three-way manifold.

Good point... I appreciate the advice.

When you say "purging" ... Do you mean carbonating the beer?

Richard

Nah - purging oxygen from a vessel you're transferring to. Reduces (greatly) the risk of oxidation.

Kegged: air.
Primary: air.
Bulk Aging: Silence of the Lambics (Pitched 13/05/2012).
Owed: JQ LSA x 1, Kyle Stout x 1 & IPA x 1.

Kyle

Richard is right, and another way to put it is to flush the regular air out of the keg with CO2 before filling. Also, for general cleaning and other purposes, its just handy to have gas on hand to push water out.

Oh okay makes sense...

Lots of stuff to think about, but this is all much needed info before going and spending close to 400 bucks... I definitely want to do it right the first time.

Thanks a lot
