To be able to do something as provocative and rebellious as this...

Of course, when you get into the meat of the rules, when you win, your beer gets brewed, kegged and bottled. Served at a local sponsoring taproom and sold in the beer store around the corner from the farmhouse.  Never been to the taproom, but that will likely change when we go see KD Lang in Bangor in September.
The beer store and the homebrew shop are really good spots, the beer store is where I picked up the High Seas stuff.
Anyway, the thing is, when your beer is brewed, you of course give up all rights to royalties, etc.
Wouldn't it be fun to be able to do something like this, run it through the club and have the beer brewed at Pic's and have a 1-2% royalty back to the club!

Quoteand one lucky beer brewer will have his or her
recipe brewed on the professional system at Penobscot Bay Brewery, then served
on draft at Nocturnem Draft Haus and available in bottles at Bangor Wine &
Cheese.

This alone....Anyone ever ask Picaroons if they'd be up for something of the like?

Still not sure how we could do that 100% within the law without a roaming judge visiting all the participants' houses.

Other than that; hells yeah it'd be awesome. Really don't see Pic's giving up a cut of their profits for a beer recipe though. I think for most brewers just seeing their name in lights would be more than enough.

That'd be more than enough for me.

Given though that we'd be giving them a beer to sell, it'd be nice to see them invest something small beyond the brew itself. Maybe help a prize or something. It's no necessary granted for me to get involved, just be nice to see besides the obvious prize.
