Eric

hi ,

I want to know if any of you remark a real difference between 2 row and pils in general when tasting.
please let me know your comment.

Thanks

I notice more up front malt sweetness when using Pils, and I think it has a slightly "cleaner" profile.

usually i'm brewing a wheat beer with pils, on my next batch i will try the same recipe with 2 rows.
hope i will taste a difference.

Depends on how much wheat you use. You will likely lose that sweetness from the Pils but otherwise I think it'll be very similar. Are you just not happy with how's it been turning out?

Like Rob, I also find that pilsner comes out with a subtle malt sweetness compared to 2-row but I find that 2 row has a cleaner profile. I don't really brew "malty" beers so for me any subtle differences between the two are almost impossible to detect.

I'm happy with the Pils but i'm asking this question because the pils is a bit more $. also i'm curious to try the difference between the two.
