Hey folks, need some help.

I bought one of these:

Which I screwed into my Blichmann beer gun. The plan was to be able to use one of my keg gas lines, with ball lock QD to supply gas to the beer gun.

The gas disconnect won't go over the nut portion of the adapter. Anyone else use one of these before? What am I missing?

Doesn't that part only allow you to put a post on top of the part...so you still need a gas post...I think, but without it in my hands at any rate?

Like John said, I think you may be missing one of these ball lock gas posts to go over that adapter:

I'm not sure if the sanke thread is the same as the adapter you have... if so, this one should work:

Give a man a beer and he'll waste an hour, teach him how to brew beer and he'll waste a lifetime.

Yeah,
That's the ticket blisster!

Thanks @JohnQ  and @blisster  ... that's exactly what I was missing! (Duh!)

Anyone know if NG carries these posts?

[edit] they don't.
