There is much club business to discuss, namely:

1.- Group confidence in elected executive

President: Kyle
Vice President: Richard
Yeast Library Curator: Thomas
Treasurer*: Kyle
Secretary**: Chris

* I was a co-founder of the FCBA, and have occupied various positions to get it off the ground but now that we are more established, it may be advisable to have a treasurer who is not otherwise on the executive, so consider this position open. However, I don't mind continuing to act in this role.

** The secretary position has been dormant for a while, and though we don't need someone to write down everything at meetings, it would be good for someone to summarize the club business that we discussed, putting it on the forum for the benefit of those who did not make it to a meeting.

2. Bylaws and amendments
- suggestions welcome

3. collection of membership dues ($30)
- pro-rating monthly as per previous poll outcome

4. Other business
- suggestions welcome

5. The fun part - beer and food
- casual conversation

Hi Kyle, perhaps it may be wise to forgo this coming meeting in favour (Damn you, it its spelled with a U....stupid US spell checker) of giving everyone ample time to schedule in the AGM.

Also I'd like to suggest a few meeting items to discuss.

-Pre-scheduled brew days during the summer.  Open invitation to someones flat piece of ground to brew, BBQ, swap yeast/grain and generally enjoy the summer.  (Weather permitting)

-I also remember someone mentioning talking to Picaroons to see if we can do/watch  a brew done on their equipment.  This would be a great learning experience and (I feel) really appeal to the newbie brewer.

In terms of cancelling this meeting, since it has typically been every two weeks, I don't think there is an issue there, but you are right to encourage people who can only go to one, to skip the meeting on the 16th, and go to the more important one on the 30th.

Also, good ideas regarding brew days and Picaroons.

Let me know if you want some 1 gallon glass jugs.  I have 5 at home and I work tonight so I'll be able to grab some more if needed.

Kyle

I have about a dozen of the 1g growlers from Ian to give away at the meeting.

If paying by cheque, please make it out to "Fredericton Craft Brewers Association"

that's brewers, not brewing.

We could change our club name to match at some point
