Anyone know where I can source a whole shitload of plastic corks + those metal clamps to hold them in under pressure? I'm planning on making use of wine magnums to cut down my bottling time.

PS...make sure its a potent bitch of a brew.  Ummm corked strong beer.

Why potent? Is there a problem with infection or something?

My intention was just to use it in place of my 500ml bottles for pretty much everything...

hence why using 1.5L magnums versus 500ml bottles is an awesome idea... if it won't make the beer suck.

i know i know..

I just think 1.5L bottles for beer is a bit much..but that's my opinion. I personally found the fischer bottles of 650 too much when i was using them as i normally didn't have a glass big enough..then the second pour was full of sediment....i could of used two glasses i guess..LOL...but i ended up going to kegs.

good luck with the search for the corks...no idea where to get em.

I can't see it making the beer suck... shouldn't make any difference if the beer is 13% or 3%.

Richard

Jmac: You actually have a very good point about the glass size... I guess this just means I'm gonna need a bigger set of glasses :D

Heads to Walmart to ask: *I just can't fit enough booze in my face at once, can you help me?*
