So for wheat beer use, are coriander and coriander seed equlvalent? How much ground coriander seed would you use?

The leaves are cilantro, don't think they're really equivalent at any ratio.

You don't want to use coriander leaves.  Like Richard said, it's cilantro (parsley).  If you want to use coriander, you want to get it ground, not in seed form.

Yea that's what I used in mine and it turned out nice. I used .3 oz, but I'd suggest upping that a bit, maybe doubling it. I went light my first time around, and wish I used a bit more. Maybe .5 or .7oz of ground would work nice.

you should toast them lightly in a pan to start to let the oils out

you know, even 0.4 oz looks like an awful lot of ground coriander seed, about 2 and a half tablespoons, are you sure you meant oz and not teaspoons?

I put 1/8 tsp cloves, and 1/4tsp ginger in other things and it was noticable even with that small amount.

Another 45 min until I add them.

Naw I did .3oz of ground coriander ... I wish I had used more.

good to know, I would have gone with a half teaspoon, which is wayyyy less, so, I'll stick with 0.4 oz
