This is based on Richard's "Black; Black Like Your Heart IPA" recipe with a few variations.

9.5GAL (US)

10lbs Canadian 2-row
10lbs Maris Otter
4lbs Vienna
2lb Munich
2lb Cara-munich
1lb Carafa Special I
1lb Carafa I
1lb Cara-Foam

3oz GR Magnum @ 60min
1oz Simcoe @ 60min
4oz Cascade @ 20min
4oz Amarillo @ 1min

Mash @ 152 w/9.5 Gallons, Sparge 170 w/6.5 Gallons.

OG 1.071.  est FG 1.016  est ABV 7.1%

Yeast pitched on Dec 3rd:

17g s-04
6g s-05

Would have used all s-04 or s-05 but ran low and had to mix yeasts...should be interesting...

19L fermenting via spunding valve
24L fermenting via bucket

Testing differences in quality, mouthfeel, etc between the two fermentation techniques.
