A buddy of mine gave me a spare keg he had which he doesn't use - unfortunately it is a pin-lock - anyone have any ball lock fittings for a keg? Or maybe interested in a trade for a ball lock keg?

This is what I've been told, so it's second hand...
The ball lock connection posts have a different thread to the keg than the pinlocks, therefore to convert you need a special set of ball lock posts which are available at Adventures in Homebrewing...
Here is the firestone set...

I'm in Princeton tonight and will be picking up all of the stuff from Calais tomorrow, back on Wednesday.

Next trip down is to see KD Lang in Bangor on September 24th, so if you need to order anything before then, and want to do an Adventures order, let me know.

Thanks for the info John, actually I tried swapping the posts with one of my other kegs (that I picked up on the last keg order) and the posts fit perfectly, so they are interchangable - I'm not sure what type of keg this one is, its a bit shorter and fatter than the corny kegs we have been getting... I didn't really want to buy new posts if we can still get kegs for the price we have been getting - posts almost as much as a new keg...

I went to Princeton  :wavebeer: drove right though...

Hope you're having a good trip!
