I am going to Germany in March, and have built in time for brewery tours, tasting, etc.  Any recommendations of breweries, cities, or beers that you would consider a "must try/see"?

I've been through Europe but never Germany unfortunately so I can't recommend specifically. But I do know these guys make one hell of a Hefeweizen. They have it at our local NBLC if you want to try it.

Thanks rob!  I love research.  I'll check it out.

Me personally, Dusseldorf would be a town I would really like to visit to taste all the different altbier.  Also, Berlin for berliner weisse.  Bamberg for rauchbier.  Cologne for kolsch.  Kempten for steinbier.

Thanks Jamie,   I will be in several of those places, and will have a fair amount of flexibility.  I'll do my best to take photos of as many of these recommendations as possible!
